Program 1: Sponsorship for Climbing Mount Everest Base Camp (EBC)
KL Wellness City has selected the extraordinary 6-year-old prodigy, Jacquelin Kaur, who aspires to become the youngest Malaysian to conquer the Mount Everest Base Camp in September 2023. This remarkable feat is not merely a testament to human determination but also a platform to raise funds for underprivileged children. KL Wellness City’s sponsorship will, in turn, be transformed into a charitable donation by Jacquelin to organizations supporting disadvantaged children.
To commemorate this historic occasion, KL Wellness City and Jacquelin presented mock checks of RM5,000 each to representatives of the Orphan Care Foundation and World Vision Malaysia Assistance Fund.
Program 2: Employee Achievements
Adding to the energy of the event, KL Wellness City’s Executive Director, Dato Sri Dr. Vincent Tiew, and Corporate Advisor, Dr. Victor Chen, will represent the organization at the Ironman event on September 16 in Italy. Their participation embodies the event’s theme – “Anything is Possible” – as they embrace the challenge of completing a 3.8km swim, 180km cycling, and a 42.2km marathon run. This remarkable achievement follows their successful completion of three full Ironman races in the past year. Furthermore, Dato Sri Dr. Vincent Tiew aims to complete two more full Ironman competitions after Italy, making it three full Ironman races within 90 days. This extraordinary endeavor signifies their commitment to pushing boundaries.

In a historic moment, Mr. Ng Choon Keith & Mr. Will Chong emerged as the first Malaysians to conquer The World’s Longest National Open Water Swimming Competition on September 3, 2023. Covering a staggering 81 kilometers, this swimming race stands as a testament to unwavering endurance and perseverance. In recognition of their outstanding achievements, KL Wellness City sponsored RM3,000 each, which Mr. Ng Choon Keith donated to World Vision Malaysia, and Mr. Will Chong donated to OrphanCare Foundation.
Event Details
The World’s Longest National Open Water Swimming Competition-2023 comprised two categories of formidable swimming challenges. Participants in the 81-kilometer swimming competition, both men and women, embarked from the Ahiron Barrage Ghat in Jangipur and concluded at the Gorabazar Sadar Ghat in Berhampore within 12 hours and 30 minutes.
