Jakarta, Indonesia – GenYouth, a pioneering organization dedicated to fostering the leadership potential of today’s youth, unveiled its transformative Youth Achievement Records initiative at the prestigious ASEAN Future Generation Business Forum. The event, held on 2nd September 2023 at Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place Jakarta, witnessed the convergence of esteemed guests, distinguished VVIPs, and outstanding young achievers, all united by a shared vision of inspiring and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
Addressing the gathering, Gillian Ooi, Co-Founder of GenYouth, encapsulated the essence of the initiative: “The youth are not just the future; they are the present driving the future.” In his address, he outlined GenYouth’s profound mission – to empower today’s youth as catalysts of positive change and growth. In partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia, this initiative serves as a beacon of affirmation, honoring the extraordinary achievements of young individuals across diverse domains.
A highlight of the event was the presence of Mr Bernardino M. Vega Alternate Chair of ASEAN Business Advisory Council Indonesia, and YB Adam Ali, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia.They joined our founders, Mr. Eldrick Koh and Ms. Gillian Ooi, on the stage to present Youth Achievement Records certificates to our very first batch of Youth Achievement Records holders. Their esteemed presence signified the significance of the occasion as they were tasked with conferring the coveted Youth Achievement Records certificates upon the exceptional recipients.

Topp Jirayut Srupsrisopa Founder and Group CEO of Bitkub Capital Group Holdings Co., Ltd., he is the “Youngest Youth Leader in Blockchain Technology and Digital Assets“
Cherrie Atilano, Founder and CEO of AGREA Agricultural Systems International, Inc., she is the “First Person to Lead a Team and the Community to Develop a Replicable One-Island Economy that Achieves Zero Hunger, Zero Waste, and Zero Insufficiency in the Philippines“
Dr. Carina Citra Dewi Joe, Senior Scientist at the University of Oxford, earned distinction as the “First COVID-19 Vaccine Patent Holder in Indonesia,” exemplifying her commitment to scientific innovation.
Dr. Mohd Sirhajwan Bin Idek, an exceptional educator from Malaysia, secured the title of the “First Asian to Win the International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Excellence in Teaching Award.”
